1. Big greetings to TROLL! It was famous for me to hear that TROLL is going to alive. So my first question is logical one; could you zoom all important things from last 8 years? It was very hard to take some new information or messages about you... And, to be honest, you’ve been one of the biggest reasons why we went to Norway in April with my colleagues!
That question is mostly directed to Nagash I assume, but I know the story. The Kovenant and Dimmu Borgir and other projects took a lot of his time. Nagash even did drums on the first Nocturnal Breed album. Since Nagash had dedicating his life to music for so many years, he decided that he wanted to have some time off.
Nagash said he tried to be “Normal” for the last years, before Nagash, Vold and Ygg started up Troll again. They got Exilis on keyboards, and after a while I joined. From there Troll was a complete band, for the first time.
2. Actual line-up is mainly composed from unknown musicians. So could you introduce them little bit? Tell something about their experiences, how you meet them, etc.? New material is Nagash’s work or simply all involved musicians?
As for me I played in a band named Fatal Demeanor, which I was a cofounder of. And now I play in Troll, Makt and Krigsmark. Makt is actually the same guys as in Fatal Demeanor, but since we wanted to go in a different direction, we renamed it.
I know Vold from Fatal Demeanor and he is a good friend of Nagash. Vold is a former member of Whip, and he currently plays in Troll and Blodspor.
I got involved with Troll because Vold brought me to a Troll rehearsal and we enjoyed playing together. Ygg have experiences in mainly Whip, and with Vold and Nagash he resurrected Troll.
Exilis went to the same music school as Ygg, and therefore got contacted when Troll needed a keyboardplayer. Troll is his first band.
Since we are a whole band now, we also make everything together. Music and Lyrics. Band and Album dynamics gets a lot better that way.

3. Release day of your new album is coming faster and faster so it’s natural that we’re curious about details. Where will be the biggest difference between old and new songs? Are you tried to add some new things into TROLL’s music? How about drugs and their influences regarding new album? :)
When it come to the new album “Neo Satanic Supremacy” we mainly are influenced by the oldest Troll material, like “Trollstorm over Nidingjuv” and “Drep de Kristne” When people ask about how the new album sounds like, we usually answer: It is like the old Troll but with a little twist. Troll anno 2010.
Hehehe, well I don’t do drugs, but I guess drugs is some kind of influence in a couple of the other guys, hehehe!
4. You’re actually under Napalm Records. Big label will provide good distribution and spreading of your name through the world, but how about negative feelings from this cooperation? Are there some limits regarding your music from their side? Do you feel free?
We have had some minor disputes in the beginning, but things worked out in the end. There is nothing restricting our artistic freedom.
5. I saw some bulletins in your MySpace – you’re actualize often, thanks for it – and one from the messages was about cover artwork so everything looks ok now, am I right? Are you already done with these necessary things? How about promotional shoots, etc.? And what could you tell us about booklet?
We are done with everything concerning the album cover, promoshoots, layouts and booklet. Also we`re currently working on a new design on the myspace page.
6. Do you know exact date of releasing? Will you prepare some special show for this significant moment? I just noticed that many labels and groups use for example pre-listening sessions…
27.01.10 – Finland, Spain
29.01.10 – Germany, Austria Switzerland, Benelux, France, Italy, Sweden
01.02.10 – Norway and the rest of Europe
09.02.10 – USA/Canada
We are thinking about a releaseparty, but nothing is confirmed yet

7. And how about possible tour? We prefer European tour, with one stop in Czech Republic, hehe! Anyway, why I’m talking about – there’re many people (not only in Czech Republic) which are highly IN your music from early start… I know, it’s hard to manage something in this era, but… hope it’ll possible!
There will be a European tour, but we don’t know when yet. Hopefully as soon as possible, since we love to play live and meet the fans.
Put some pressure on your local organizer for a Troll concert. And we will be there if you win.
8. Let’s go back to your upcoming release for last time. Will be “Neo-Satanic Supremacy” the most important album in your history? How do you feel about the songs, etc.? Is it the most mature work you’ve ever done? Is album conceptual (lyrically) in some kind of view?
Personally I feel this is the most important one, since we all have contributed to the music and put our souls into the sound and compositions. We chose The Abyss studio in Sweden, and with the help of Tommy Tägtgren we got the sound we wanted.
Conceptual evil I would say the lyrics are, mohahah
