1. Greetings to Poland & thanks for the chance to make an interview with you.
Greetings to you and all dismal readers. Thanks for the interview.
2. Everyone involved in the band is playing in different groups (sometimes even in groups that produce variant musical styles). From my view, this could give you bigger possibility to expand and create imaginative music with MOROWE. Was that an intention or just a random?
The ideas for this sublime sounds came out from all of us and, since we play different styles, are the best compilation of gloomy riffs produced ever. But that’s not the point. The expansion. Not in the musical way. The expansion of Morowe means to preach awful death images fuelled by Him. This is what He does to me. He speaks, I listen. I always obey, and that’s why Morowe is so ominous.
3. When you started with MOROWE, did you know what kind of genre you would like to produce? Did you form the group with an idea to play post-black metal? If yes, why?
I think it was no so called post-black metal, when we started out with the music. And if it had been any, we simply did not know about it. Some people tell us we fit Nachtmystium. So what? We’ve never heard it before. Morowe just came, in the dull morning one day.
4. If I’ll ask you to introduce „Piekło.Labirynty.Diabły“ for listeners that did not listen the album yet, what would you say?
A dead body, no soul, no love, no hate. Just rotten and beautiful.

5. Like it is usual for many Polish groups, „Piekło.Labirynty.Diabły“ is completely in your native language. Is it simple for you to write the texts in Polish or you simply prefer Polish in excess of English?
The fact that the lyrics for the CD are in Polish is only His will. Nothing more, nothing less. If He’ll speak to me in Chinese, so be it. And it’s not easy I’d say to write down everything what He says, whispers, shouts... I’d rather tell, that doing lyrics like early Darkthrone would be maybe direct and understandable, but I was afraid of the Punishment.
6. How about lyrical side of „Piekło.Labirynty.Diabły“?
Words, sermons of Him. His only will and language. Completely beyond control of any part, any force of this and other worlds.
7. Album’s artwork is mysterious I would say. How to understand it as a listener that just bought the album? And how much important is visual presentation for MOROWE?
To understand it, you’d of course understand the lyrical side. Don’t worry. Nobody did so far. Morowe means Black Death, a plague, simply speaking. I’d say people can feel it while listening. Few listeners seemed well after hearing it. Haemorrhage is so hot.
8. Well… Nihil took care about recording and mixing. Is possible to understand this decision that Nihil is the main composer of the music? What was the procedure on the album? Were all musicians involved?
No, definitely not. This is a standard work of all musicians involved. Some are wrong saying, that it’s MY new project. It’s not. I just own a recording studio, which is very comfortable concerning that the recording took over a year.

9. Did you think about live performances? I don’t know if you ever played live, but from my view, it might be interesting! How about possible tour?
Something worth consideration maybe, but... no. I don’t think so. Maybe for a shit-load of cash... Maybe...
10. My last question is about the most actual thing that is circulating around black metal; what do you think about big expansion of post-black metal groups? And what is your opinion about black metal from “old school” and this newer one? Do you have any imagination about the future of black metal?
Future black metal is unknown, nowadays black metal is what it is. Many bands, many subgenres, few good ones, lot of shitty acts. If old-school, classic BM is new Darkthrone album(s), then who knows what we can expect?
11. That’s pretty all from me. Thanks for the interview and looking forward to hear some new songs from MOROWE.
The dirty miners keep the keys to His coffin.
