1. Hello to you, Gorgoroth! I must say that I know your group for a long time, but I never have obvious view about your „way“ since 1994. Do you tell me some facts about Baltak?

Baltak is a band all about the truth about Macedonian history and being a freedom fighter for the cause of the real Macedonian country. Not Greek, Bulgarian etc... But Macedonian. All credit work against my people so Baltak has to set things straight and spread more historical proof work word for more understanding of the real Macedonin Kingdom, not Greek Kingdom.

2. I don’t reflected any activities from you for so long, by it’s? Baltak and Buio Omega sleeping... Do you have any plans to the future?

Yes I plan for a new Baltak album in the near future, no idea when this will happen but it will. Regarding Buio Omega their will be a new album soon titled "Planet Of Tombs". The album was recorded in Italy and the vocals were recorded here in Sydney Australia. The mixing and mastering is happening in German at the mighty Polygam studio's Pirna / Dresden.

3. About your place where you‘re live – misty thing for me, too. I’d like to ask you about it, please...

If your regarding to Australia. Yeah it's a ok life here but the Metal scene is really not that strong. All my main sales and recognition is all over sea's, Europe and the USA etc... Which i would love to relocate myself on the other side of the world one day in the future.

4. You have high voice and it‘s charismatic symbol for Baltak. This is your natural voice „aspect“ near singing, or are you putting the finishing touches to this position?

Yeah this is pretty much my natural voice for Baltak appart from alittle reverb. That is it. No effects no touch ups no nothing. Just a Macedonian Battle Cry.

5. Can you tell me any informations, differences, atd. about your albums, please?

„Macedonian Darkness And Evil“ – The debut album, totally different and more blasting then probably all other titles.

„Zaginatiot Grad“ – Second album, alittle more melodic still holding the extreme Baltak touches but on a different level.

„Kral Na Dva Svetoj“ – Third album would probably be the better of the previous 2 albums. More melodic and also very extreme.

„Makedonski Boj“ – Fouth album produced in Germany in 2002 with a German drummer called LORD OF AEVERON. This would have to be the best musical album of Baltak, more in the roots of Thrash Metal cross with extreme Black Metal.

6. Covers have compact themes, who is their author? Always the same person? From what you choose (create) it?

The Baltak cover's are done from 3 different people. The 1st person is from the Legendary band Sadistik Exektuion, the mighty Rev Kris Hades, he do the first 2 Baltak albums and the debut Buio Omega.. The other person is just a artist tattooist a friend of mine from Adelaide Australia. He do the 4th Baltak and the 2nd Buio Omega artworks. The other last person is a close Macedonian patriotic man by the name of Blaze. He is a great artist, he doea alot of sculpture work, paintings etc... would be the best icon painter i have ever seen and known.


7. How would you define music of Baltak?

Extreme Raw and Power, Ancient Macedonian War Metal

8. Which influences is in?

Really it's hard to show influences in Baltak also cause i listen to a lot of other genres of Metal, the 4th album people claim likeness to Destruction, Nuclear Assault etc... I personally don't really see those influences but that's the people’s point of view.

9. Since you’re a independent person, in which way you’re creating music?

From the depth of my Macedonian soul, the feelings, the rage, the love of my country and the people who destroyed and divided the country in 1912. Baltak wages war against the countries that split Macedonia. And all the espionage against the Macedonian people, land and language. That’s way the 2nd & 3rd albums had those big booklets etc…

10. You have also label Battlegod Productions, which is dedicated into releasing pieces of Baltak and for some other groups... In what time are you registered an idea to creating a label? Have you ever been interested in sign to a foreign label?

The idea of Battlegod Productions was around the same time as the debut Baltak album Macedonian Darkness And Evil. Late 1994 was the official year the name was born and registered as a official label early 1995. I have thought of other labels to release Baltak material but really also I wanted to try to do it myself. From then till now Battlegod Productions has a few titles, a few bands in the campaign. On Battlegod Productions are releasd the following bands, Baltak, Buio Omega, Mortifier, Saxorior, Dave Slave’s Doomed And Disgusting (ex-Sadistik Exekution), Pegazus, Dark Order. Now for the bands that are coming on Battlegod Productions. May Result, Harkonin, Temtris. There is also plans for more.

11. How about Baltak and gigs? Are you ever play live? If yes, which musicians help you and in which places you’re played for a long time?

Baltak have only played ever 4 gigs and a party. So in total there were on 5 shows. That’s was from 1995 to 1997. The last official Baltak gig here in Australia was new years eve gig for 1995/96. Half of this footage from that time was taken and I plan to release a double sided CD/DVD of the debut Baltak “Macedonian Darkness and Evil with a few bonus tracks. It’s been a long time since this album was available so now it will be available again in a digi package deluxe edition limited to 2000 world wide. That’s would be interesting for all Baltak supporters.

12. Your nationalism is so strong, though for many people can be confused...

Yeah my nationalism is very strong indeed. People here have gotten to know me the way I am and if I changed they will think there is something wrong. I don’t think I will ever change. I am a proud patriotic Macedonian freedom fighter who try’s to change the damage for what all the neighboring countries have done regarding history and the geographic map with also the Anti Macedonian propaganda from the Greeks and the Bulgars as well. Also the beginning of the Yugoslavia period the Macedonians in that part suffered from the Serbs but all is well now we have all gotten to live with each other. I know that’s the past but sometimes the past repeats itself. Baltak will never change, ifg anything it will become more chaotic then ever.


13. Well, are you read a lot? What kinds of books do you prefer? Historical, horrors, ...?

I like ready historical books from different people. I would like to see what each historian says and comments. I want to know more and more and more. Even when I was there in 2002, I spoke with old Macedonian people and it was a great chat indeed. Found out ever more stuff then ever. It was great, I like meeting people that know their history. For me it does not matter. I love all history even Ancient Egypt, Persia, Babylon etc, etc… The horror books I don’t read as much. But I love watching horror films.

14. Is there anything, where with you’re effected during the years (I think your music...)?

Baltak has become more it’s own style I think. Now on the 4th Baltak album I do believe Baltak has it’s own sound and originality. Although it was still pretty original when the debut was released. I never really recalled a Band that sounded like Baltak back in those days.

15. People, who rule to this world, have many faces... What do you think of a man generally?

We live in evil wicked days. Man only lusts for power and greed. It’s pretty fucked, I hate politics but have to live with them. Man decides to rule the planet and destroy mother earth. The ancients loved the earth they lived of it and looked after it. Not like in today’s time with global worming and rain forests getting cut down, the population is just growing and I personally think that something bad is going to come of it. To much population, how much more can the planet take, all that oil digging as well, cars, trucks, factories all that stuff that makes even more and more pollution. I would rather the Ancient times, life was a lot more natural and hard but only the strong survive and the rest just die.
