Mladá švédská kapela dosáhla dalšího úspěchu; po posledním vysoce hodnoceném albu se dostala do hledáčků hned několika labelů, z nichž tím nejúspěšnějším byl Season of Mist. Nový materiál se zrovna píše a vše by mělo vyjít ke konci roku 2009. Samotní Rimfrost komentují upsání se Season of Mist takto: "We have been playing for six years with RIMFROST and since our first demo-recording we have always had our eyes on Season of Mist", the band comment. "Finally we've got the chance to work with this heavy-weight label in the Black Metal scene. We signed our first contract three years ago with a German underground label, but since being signed there confronted us with completely unforeseen negative consequences, we decided to sign off due to serious disagreement. Season of Mist gives us fucking great vibrations now: we look forward to work with an elite, professional label that we can grow strong with.
