Pohrobek kapely Geist oznámil, že rozvázal spolupráci se třemi svými
členy. Kapelu opustili vokalista Cypher D. Rex a kytaristé Hedrykk F.
Gausenatt a Zyan. V kapele tedy zůstává Alboin a Marlek, kteří budou s
Eis pokračovat jako duo. Na jaře mají v plánu nahrát novou desku, kde se
hodlají vrátit ke svým kořenům. Poté se hodlají vrátit i na pódia,
jakmile se jim podaří sehnat nějaké sezónní muzikanty. Oficiální prohlášení (v angličtině a němčině) si můžete přečíst níže. "There are moments you just feel that something has to change. For me, such a moment had come. I felt more and more of a stomach ache with the direction the band took within the last one and a half year. The album being in progress during the last months - mainly with inputs by Cypher and Hedrykk - didn't feel like an Eїs album for me, even if that is a very subjective interpretation of course. It came clearer and clearer to my mind how important this band and everything it stands for is to me, and that I neither could nor wanted to live with any musical compromise in Eїs." "Es gibt Momente, in denen man weiß, dass sich etwas ändern muss. Für mich war so ein Moment gekommen. Die Entwicklung der Band nahm in den letzten eineinhalb Jahren eine Richtung, mit der ich mehr und mehr Bauchschmerzen bekam. Das Album, das in den letzten Monaten vor allem unter der Regie von Cypher und Hedrykk entstand, fühlte sich für mich nicht nach einem Eїs-Album an, auch wenn das eine sehr subjektive Einschätzung ist. Mir ist immer bewusster geworden, wie wichtig mir diese Band und vor allem das, wofür sie steht, ist, und dass ich mit einem musikalischen Kompromiss bei Eїs weder leben kann noch möchte."
