Světová deska roku 2011
Pokud bychom se opět šťourali v příslušnosti jednotlivých kapel ke světové mapě, museli bychom podotknout, že Francii se podařilo obhájit titul. Loňské suverény Deathspell Omega letos vystřídala neméně šílená záležitost jménem PESTE NOIRE. Po minimální ztrátě se na druhém místě objevují maďarští THY CATAFALQUE, kteří novinkou "Rengeteg" potvrdili kvalitu minulých nahrávek. Se stejným počtem bodů berou stříbro také SEPTICFLESH. Překvapením roku se stává TERRA TENEBROSA, která se z nuly prokousala na čtvrtou pozici. TOP5 pak zakončují nestárnoucí a stále silní BLUT AUS NORD.

Vypadá to, že cokoli HEIDEN vydají, je přijato s nadšením. V loňském roce to bylo velice osobité "Dolores" a všechny přítomné očarovalo takovým způsobem, že se s přehledem usadilo na první příčce našeho hodnocení. I v "tuzemské" anketě jsme se dočkali děleného druhého místa. Stříbro berou společně TÁBOR RADOSTI a UMBRTKA, která byla před sčítáním hlasů spolufavoritem na titul. Na čtvrtém místě se dočkali fanoušci ortodoxního black metalu v podobně aktuální nahrávky SILVA NIGRA a TOP5 uzavírá Blackhosův projekt CALES.

Zklamání roku 2011
Letos jsme jako třetí kategorii zařadili zklamání roku, kde členové redakce zmínili nahrávky, které nedostály jejich očekávání. Nejedná se tak o klasický propadák, ve kterém by se objevovaly ty nejhorší práce loňského roku, jak by se na první pohled mohlo zdát. Ve zklamání klidně mohou figurovat atrikly, jejichž hodnocení bylo nadprůměrné, avšak čekalo se od nich jednoduše více. V této kategorii jsme nevypočítávali výsledné hodnocení, pouze uveřejňujeme "favority" jednotlivých redaktorů.

Pokud by vás za závěr zajímalo, jak jsme hodnotili, pak vězte, že za každé první místo obržela ta či ona deska pětici bodů, za každé druhé místo trojici, za každé třetí dvojici bodů a za každé další místo jeden bod. Počet letošních „top desek“ neměl žádný redaktor omezený. Jen při výběru desky do top-u měla být brána zřetel na recenzi v rámci Mortem zinu a na datum vydání, kterým se každé album muselo vejít mezi prosinec 2010 a listopad 2011.
